Suntory Yamazaki Story of Distillery 2025 Edition

Suntory Yamazaki Story of Distillery 2025 Edition is the second release in a series telling the history of the Yamazaki Distillery, which has been making whisky for over 100 years. The bottle and its box are decorated with Echizen washi paper showing the drying towers, or kilns, that were part of the distillery's early days. A leaflet on the distillery's history comes with it. The whisky is a reddish amber colour. The nose brings dried persimmon with cloves, and the palate offers orange marmalade and red bean sweetness. The finish is smoky and spicy, with a long, complex aftertaste.
