Talisker 10 Years is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak casks.
The whisky is valued for its balanced level of peat and its maritime touches.
The nose brings soft peat, apple, pear, citrus, cinnamon, oak and a light sea breeze. A light smokiness opens the palate, followed by peppery spice, citrus, vanilla, oak and nuts. The finish is of good length, with smoke, honey and chocolate.
