Talisker 10 Years Old is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, part of Diageo's Classic Malts series. It was matured for at least 10 years in American oak casks and bottled at 45.8% ABV.
The nose is fresh and fragrant, with thick, sharp smoke, sweet pear and apple peel, and touches of sea salt, herring and seaweed. On the palate, a peat fire crackles with black pepper, brine and dry barley, balanced by orchard fruit. The long finish has roasted malt embers and a sugary undertone.
