Talisker – 14 Year Old 2011/2025 Douglas Laing Old Particular (70cl, 54.8%)

This is a 14 year old Talisker from the Isle of Skye, distilled in 2011 and bottled in July 2025 by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular series. It comes from a single hogshead, with 227 bottles filled at a natural cask strength of 54.8%, without chill-filtration or colouring, in a 70cl bottle. Talisker is the only distillery on Skye, founded in 1830 on the shores of Loch Harport. The whisky is described as mineral, salty and smoky, moving between bright citrus, oily peat and stormy coastal notes.
