This is a single cask Talisker from the Isle of Skye, bottled by Hunter Laing in its Old Malt Cask series. It is presented in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV.
The whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured for eight years in a single refill hogshead. It was bottled in January 2017.
The nose is fresh with citrus, clean malt and a hint of salinity. On the palate it stays coastal and savoury, with soft vanilla and white grape adding a gentle sweetness. The finish brings apricot, almond and peppery oak.
