Talisker 25 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture and cider apples, with a whiff of Frazzles and crumbly fudge holding it together. On the palate, floral heather and perhaps a hint of rose develop into heavier salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoky barley and nectarines. On the finish, smoke becomes sweet, with an undercurrent of cedar.
