Talisker 25 Year Old Private Collection is a single malt bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture and cider apples, with a whiff of Frazzles, all held together by crumbly fudge. On the palate, floral heather and perhaps a hint of rose give way to heavier notes of salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoky barley and nectarines. The finish turns smoke to sweetness, with an undercurrent of cedar.
