Talisker – 8 Year Old 2021 Special Release

This is an eight year old Talisker single malt, part of Diageo's 2021 Special Releases. The theme that year was Legends Untold, and the bottlings all refer to stories, real and imagined, from around the distilleries. It was matured in refill casks and is a bold, lively expression with a peaty punch, alongside plenty of fruit tones. The distillery stands on the coast of the Isle of Skye, and the label shows a rather imposing sea monster.
