Talisker – Forests of the Deep 44 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 49.1%)

Talisker Forests of the Deep is a 44 year old single malt, launched in late 2022 in Australia and bottled at 49.1% in a 70cl bottle. It is the oldest Talisker on record, with 1,997 bottles released worldwide. The whisky was finished in marine oak casks. Talisker cask staves travelled on a ship to a sea kelp forest near the Cape of Good Hope, on an expedition led by Parley for the Oceans, Talisker's partner in ocean conservation. The staves were later charred using Scottish sea kelp and stave wood shavings. It follows the 43 year old Xpedition Oak and comes in an oval case.
