Talisker Skye is a single malt from the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV. It is matured in American refill and charred oak casks. Talisker's spicy, smoky character comes from peat burnt during malting, and this bottling pairs sweet smoke and peppery spice with fresh citrus. Crisp citrus aromas and a subtle sweetness lead on the nose. On the palate, soft fruits and cereal notes sit under the smoke, and the finish is long and warming with a distinct pepperiness.
