Talisker Storm is a no age statement single malt from the Isle of Skye, first released in early 2013. It is bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in carefully chosen refill and toasted American oak casks, and it sets the distillery's character alongside a smokier depth.
On the nose there is brine and a creamy note, with banana, citrus and a hint of sticking plasters, and white pepper arriving late. The palate is thick with wood smoke, brine and chilli heat, and the finish brings red chilli and dry oak with a trace of embers.
