TALU Cognac Cask is an 8 year old English whiskey made from rye, barley and maize. The spirit matures in level-four charred American white oak and is then finished in first-fill VSOP Cognac casks. It is bottled at 43%, natural in colour and non-chill filtered.
Ripe fig, French vanilla and a patisserie-like sweetness mark the nose, with poached pear, toffee and pistachio on the palate. The finish brings honeycomb and candied ginger over mature oak.
