Tamdhu 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for the full 15 years in oloroso sherry oak casks, both American and European. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, which keeps the texture and cask character intact. In the glass it is amber-gold.
The nose offers charred pineapple, dense fruitcake, toasty oak, orange zest and fennel. On the palate come dried fruit, orange oil and apricot, then earthy vanilla, cedar, leather and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with malt biscuit, cream sherry and vanilla.
