Tamdhu – Batch Strength 007 (70cl, 57.5%)

Tamdhu Batch Strength 007 is the seventh release in the distillery's Batch Strength series. It is matured in seasoned Oloroso sherry casks from the bodegas of Jerez, Spain, which give it a natural copper colour. It is bottled without chill filtration at 57.5% in a 70cl bottle. The nose has vanilla sponge, cinnamon and roasted praline. The palate is thick and full, with raspberry pavlova; a drop of water brings out caramel apricots, oak spice and a sharp lemon note. The long finish moves from warm oak spice to baked figs, sherry and fresh clementine.
