This is Tamdhu Cask Strength Batch 008, a single malt bottled in 2023 at 55.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in Oloroso sherry casks.
On the nose there is sherry-stained oak, manuka honey, red berries, caramel, cinnamon and raisins, with Spanish oak, vanilla and honeycomb. The palate brings candied citrus peel, toffee apples, nutmeg and fruitcake alongside summer berries. The finish is long, with figs and spiced orange tea.
