This is the eighth release of Tamdhu Cask Strength, a Speyside single malt bottled at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to a series for sherry lovers, made by marrying selected batches of whisky matured in oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is sherry-stained oak, manuka honey, red berries, caramel, cinnamon and raisins. The palate brings candied citrus peel, creamy vanilla, toffee apples, nutmeg and fruitcake, and the finish is figs and spiced orange tea.
