Tamdhu Cuatro Reserva is a Speyside single malt matured solely in sherry oak casks and bottled at 41.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Tamdhu was founded in 1897 and puts great weight on maturing in sherry casks of European oak. This is a distillery bottling.
The nose is fruity, with dried fruit and vanilla over a fine sherry spice. The palate is rich and soft, with sweet notes, almonds and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is warm and lasting, with spice and wood.
