Tamdhu Distinction Release 02 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Tamdhu Distillery. It was matured in American white oak casks that had been seasoned with Oloroso sherry for six years in Spain. The release is built around Tamdhu's sherry cask maturation, with the softer influence of American oak sitting alongside the sherry richness. It is described as showing creamy vanilla, honeyed sweetness, dried fruits and warming spice.
