Tamdhu – Distinction (70cl)

Tamdhu Distinction is a limited edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It celebrates maturation in first-fill American oak sherry casks. The oak is grown in North America and shipped to Spain, where the casks are made over six years in the sherry triangle. The staves air dry in the Mediterranean sun before experienced coopers assemble and toast them, and the casks are then seasoned with Oloroso sherry before going to the distillery. The maturing spirit takes on rich, fruity flavours and a natural amber colour from these casks.
