Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction Release III is a single malt Scotch whisky at 48% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is the third release in the Quercus Alba Distinction series, which celebrates maturation in first-fill American oak sherry casks.
Tamdhu is the only Scotch whisky brand that matures its single malt entirely in oloroso sherry casks.
The palate is rich and soft, with plums, chocolate and lime alongside the fruitiness of the oak. The finish is long and fruity-sweet, with dried cherries and a touch of honeycomb.
