Teeling Rising Reserve No.3 is a 21 year old single malt Irish whiskey. It was first matured in bourbon casks and then given a second maturation in ruby port casks. Bottling is at 46% ABV without chill filtration, and 6,000 bottles were released.
The nose is delicate and mellow, with soft sweetness, caramel, ripe red fruits and a hint of sandalwood. The palate is rich and layered, with brown sugar, chocolate, trifle, Christmas cake, cherry and plum. The finish brings golden syrup, gentle tannins, cooked barley and a touch of oak spice.
