Teeling – 32 Year Old Very Rare Cask Rivesaltes (51.4%)

This is a 32 year old Irish single malt from Teeling, part of its Very Rare Casks Collection. It was matured in casks from the Rivesaltes region in the South of France, and bottled at 51.4% without chill filtration. The edition is limited to 198 bottles. The Rivesaltes casks are described as adding honey sweetness, dark chocolate, red orchard fruits and soft oak tannins. The nose offers dark chocolate, dried fruit, vanilla and orange peel. On the palate there are almonds, honey sweetness, dried figs and walnuts, and the finish is long with dried fruits.
