Teeling Blackpitts Peated is a peated single malt Irish whiskey from the Teeling Distillery in Dublin. Its name comes from the Blackpitts area, close to the old Liberties malting district.
It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Sauternes sweet wine casks from France.
The nose has barbecue smoke, citrus and sweet spice, with balanced wood. Grilled pineapple, salted caramel, orchard fruit and soft peat show on the palate. The finish is smoky and oaky, with a sweet, spicy aftertaste.
