Teeling Single Grain is an Irish single grain whiskey built around corn. It is matured in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon casks from the Napa Valley in California and finished in rum casks, which sets it apart from other Irish grain whiskeys.
It is bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is honeyed apple and red grape with vanilla, spice, evaporated milk and brown sugar. The palate is light and buttery, with treacle and dried cranberry, and the finish brings golden syrup tart, egg custard and spicy cereal.
