Teeling Small Batch is the flagship expression from Teeling in Dublin, a blend of malt and grain whiskeys. It was first aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then given a further rest of up to 12 months in casks that previously held Central American rum.
It was bottled in August 2019 at 46% without chill filtration, in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is cut grass and orange blossom with allspice, vanilla, apple pie and blackberries. The palate brings rose petal jelly, lemon curd, creamy vanilla, dried herbs and cinnamon, and the finish is floral and herbal with caramel on the tail.
