Teeling – Spirit of Dublin Irish Poitin (50cl, 52.5%)

This is an Irish poitin from the Teeling distillery in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 52.5%. It was the first new spirit release from a Dublin distillery in over 125 years. It is essentially an unaged single pot still whiskey. The mash is half unmalted and half malted barley, fermented and then distilled three times in Teeling's three copper pot stills. It can be taken after dinner with a coffee, and its strength also carries through well in whiskey cocktails.
