Teeling – Wonders of Wood Virgin Swedish Oak Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

This is an Irish whiskey from Teeling, part of the Wonders of Wood series, matured in virgin Swedish oak. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The nose combines gentle floral notes with zesty citrus, caramel and cooked barley. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with herbs, candied ginger, almonds and sugar cane syrup. The finish is dry, with a light pepper spice and nutmeg.
