Templeton Rye 6 Year Old is a rye whiskey aged for six years in charred new American oak barrels. This expression was first released in 2016.
The whiskey is distilled by MGP to the same recipe as the rest of the range. The spirit is then sent to Templeton, Iowa, where the company adds its own proprietary formula and local purified water before bottling.
It is noted for pronounced rye character and a touch of spice.
