Templeton Rye Barrel Strength 2020 (70cl, 66.5%)

This is the 2020 release of Templeton Rye Barrel Strength, a limited edition straight rye whiskey from Iowa. It is bottled at cask strength, 66.55% (113.1 proof), without dilution, in a 70cl bottle. It is also non-chill filtered. The nose has warm spices, dried fruit, caramel and hints of tobacco. The palate is intense with rye spice, dark sugar, oak, pepper and toffee, over a deep sweetness. The finish is long and warming.
