Templeton Rye San Diego Padres Edition (75cl, 40%)

This is Templeton Rye in a limited-edition bottle made in collaboration with the San Diego Padres, with the team's branding on the label. The whiskey inside is Templeton's 4 Year rye, from the distillery in Templeton, Iowa. It has been aged for a minimum of four years in charred American oak barrels and is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The nose combines toasted oak, caramel and baking spice. On the palate it is bold but smooth, with vanilla, dried fruit, toffee and rye spice, followed by a long, warming finish of wood spice and dried summer fruit.
