Templeton Rye Aged 4 Years is an Iowa rye whiskey that has spent four years maturing.
The oak influence is subtle. The nose is sweet and spicy, with caramelised banana, vanilla, cinnamon and wintergreen.
On the palate it opens with a honeyed sweetness, then moves quickly to dry rye grain, chilli flake and black pepper.
