Terre Forti Negroamaro Puglia IGT

A red wine from Puglia made from Negroamaro. It has a well-defined tannic structure and intense aromatic depth. The colour is dark ruby with violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with light spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with balance between acidity and tannins and a pleasant persistence. Ageing is generally in steel or oak barrels for a short period. It suits red meats, aged cheeses and savoury first courses such as orecchiette with ragù.
