An 18 year old peated single malt from the Highlands, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in oak casks and is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is gentle woodsmoke with honey, roasted nuts and dried fruit, and sea spray, leather and charred oak beneath. On the palate, sweet malt and vanilla cream meet earthy peat, dark chocolate and spice, with orange peel, toffee and oak, and the smoke stays in balance. The finish is long and dry, with a last trace of smoke fading into sweet malt and polished oak.
