This is an 18 year old single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery, released as a limited edition of 9,000 bottles.
It was matured in an ex-sherry hogshead, which adds sweetness and a little spice to Arran's soft, malty style. The distillery sits in Lochranza on the north-west of the island and began distilling in 1995, the first legal distilling on Arran for more than 150 years.
