The Arran Sherry Cask 'The Bodega'

Sherry Cask 'The Bodega' is a cask-strength single malt in The Arran core range, matured entirely in sherry casks. Arran's Master Distiller worked with producers in Jerez, Spain, to select the casks it was filled into. The bottling returns to the style of some of the earliest Arran single malts, which were mainly matured in sherry casks. The nose offers chocolate-covered raisins, mandarin oranges and a hint of spice. The palate is chewy and warm, with ripe figs and sweet cherries, balancing sherry cask influence and distillery character. The finish is long and powerful, with pink pepper, hazelnuts and toasted oak.
