The Balvenie 19 Year Old A Revelation of Cask and Character is a Speyside single malt from The Balvenie Stories range, a collection about the people, places and traditions behind the distillery's whisky. It is a limited edition, bottled at 47.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent nineteen years maturing in a selection of oak casks, and combines honeyed richness with oak, spice and dried fruit. The nose offers honeycomb, vanilla and dried apricot, with oak spice, baked apple and citrus peel. The palate brings crème brûlée, honeyed malt, toasted almond and stewed orchard fruit, with dried fig, nutmeg and orange marmalade. The finish is long, with soft oak spice, vanilla cream and dried fruit.
