The Week of Peat is part of The Balvenie Stories range. It is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, in a 70cl bottle at 48.3%. It comes from the one week each year when Balvenie turns from its usual unpeated production to make a gently peated spirit. The whisky was matured in a selection of oak casks. The nose combines gentle sweet peat smoke with floral notes and butterscotch honey. The palate is velvety, with soft smoke, citrus, oaky vanilla and blossom honey. The finish is a lingering gentle smoke with creamy vanilla sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
