The Black Douglas is a 12 year old Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, named in tribute to Sir James Douglas.
Douglas was a Scottish warrior who died in battle against Spanish forces, swinging his claymore and carrying a silver casket that held the heart of Robert the Bruce. The whisky takes his name some 700 years after his death.
