The Cairn Distillery – CRN57 Vision (70cl, 40%)

The Cairn Distillery CRN57 Vision is a blended malt whisky from The Cairn Distillery, a new Speyside producer in Scotland's Cairngorms National Park, backed by the Gordon & MacPhail family. It belongs to the CRN57 range, which is blended to reflect the aromas and flavours expected in the distillery's future single malts, still maturing. Vision is the first release in the series and is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose has vanilla cream, blueberry and green apple, with delicate citrus. The palate mixes crisp apple, zesty citrus, summer berries, figs and gentle nuttiness, ending in a clean finish with a touch of spice and lingering fruit.
