The Chita Suntory (70cl, 43%)

This is Suntory's Chita, a Japanese single grain whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of single grains, mainly corn, distilled at the Chita distillery a few kilometres from Nagoya and aged in different types of casks. It is the only grain whisky Suntory produces and bottles as such, and the distillery name appears on the label in Japanese calligraphy. The aroma is fruity, woody and spicy, and is said to be close to that of American bourbons.
