The Cooper's Choice The Golden Cut 2015 Tamdhu Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 50%)

This is a 2015 Tamdhu single malt Scotch from The Cooper's Choice Golden Cut Collection, which draws on small batches and single casks. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring, and only 396 bottles were filled. The whisky was aged in an ex-Marsala wine barrel. The fruitiness and richness of the Tamdhu spirit stay in the foreground, with orchard fruits and honeydew alongside sweet grain and caramel, and the Marsala cask adds further layers to the flavour.
