The Dalmore Select Edition 2009 is a 15 year old Highland single malt, distilled in 2009 and bottled at 48.9% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Matusalem sherry casks and Graham's 10 year old tawny port pipes.
The nose offers Manuka honey, dark plum, cracked black pepper and clove. On the palate, Morello cherry and dates lead to candied Seville orange, fresh figs and light cacao. The finish moves from plum to moist ginger cake, roast chestnut and soft wood spice.
