The English Whisky Co. Rum Cask Matured is an English single malt, distilled in Norfolk and matured on site, then finished in rum casks. The rum wood adds sweetness to the malt without overpowering it.
The nose offers soft vanilla, toasted oak and molasses, with pineapple, banana and sugared citrus. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with caramelised fruit, honeyed malt and light spice. The finish is long and gently warming, with tropical fruit, oak and a touch of brown sugar.
