The Famous Grouse 16 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky, aged for 16 years. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and has a bright, clear, burnished gold colour.
The nose brings caramelised pears, vanilla sponge and black cherries, with a hint of cedar wood. The palate is peppery with nutmeg and cinnamon bark, set against soft, silky vanilla.
The finish is spicy and lingering.
