The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

A blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40%, made by marrying malt and grain whiskies. Matthew Gloag developed the brand in Perth in 1896, first as The Grouse Brand, and it took its present name in 1905 after customers kept asking for the famous grouse. The nose has apple and citrus, malted barley and toffee. The palate is round, with gentle sweetness, spice and soft oak. The finish is medium in length, with a dry, woody spice.
