The Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, with oak influence from sherry casks.
The nose is light and fresh, with candied fruit, buttery biscuits and orange peel, set against a subtle background of oak from the sherry casks. The palate is soft, warm and silky, with ripe notes of dried fruit such as raisins, toffee and sweet spices including cinnamon and ginger. The finish is soft, clean and medium dry, lasting and harmonious, with a light touch of spice.
