A blended Scotch whisky from The Famous Grouse, bottled at 40% ABV in a 35cl petaca, the flask-style bottle.
The nose is clean and fairly deep, with toffee, old vanilla, baked apples and sherried raisins, along with orange peel, dried flowers, malted barley and a faint herbal note with a whisper of peat smoke.
The palate is soft, smooth and medium to full-bodied, with honey, butter and malt biscuit, moving towards nuts, ginger and gentle spice from European oak, plus a slight resinous edge. The finish is long and warm, sweet with milk chocolate and caramel, and a very light touch of earthy smoke.
