A 1992 vintage bottling from The Famous Grouse, a blended Scotch whisky from Matthew Gloag & Son, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as medium-bodied, silky and creamy, with dried fruit, sherry sweetness and orange peel at the centre, and only a faint thread of peat smoke behind them.
The nose brings raisins, figs and apricots with milk chocolate, toffee, honey and vanilla over polished oak. The finish runs medium to long, warm and toasty, with cocoa, resinous notes and a malty sweetness.
