The Fife Arms Single Cask Autumn Scotch Whisky 12 Year Old (70cl, 59.5%)

A single cask Scotch single malt from The Fife Arms, matured for 12 years in a first-fill ex-Bourbon barrel and bottled at a cask strength of 59.5%. It is a limited edition of 178 bottles, each in a 70cl bottle. Each bottle is paired with a holder designed by Bill Amberg, made from natural-washed British wool felt and tan leather. It can be reused afterwards as a bottle carrier and cooler, and its stitched leather label is hand-marked with the bottle's own number. The tasting notes run to peat moss and eucalyptus, with the sweetness of lemon drizzle cake and blackcurrant wine gums, and a subtle waxy depth.
