The Glasgow Distillery – 10 Year Old 2015 Oloroso Sherry Butt Single Cask (46%)

This is a single cask Lowland single malt from The Glasgow Distillery, matured for ten years in an Oloroso sherry butt. The whisky is unpeated, comes from the 2015 vintage and was bottled in 2026 at 46% ABV for Kirsch Import, without chill-filtration or added colour. The butt gave 800 bottles. The nose brings ripe cherries and dried fruit alongside dark chocolate and strong espresso. On the palate, cherry flavours meet melting chocolate and a fine coffee bitterness, with a balanced texture. The finish is long, with black pepper coming through.
